| Step
1: Check Option Setting |
From the main Eudora screen, select Tools / Options / Sending
Mail. If you'd like to save copies of the messages you send, then
the "Keep" box should be checked. Mail you send will
remain in the Out box. Close the options window.

2: Waiting to Empty |
It's a good idea to go through the Out box occasionally looking
for messages to delete. Keeping your messages cleared out helps
Eudora, and you, work more efficiently. When you delete the Out
box messages, they go into the Trash box. It's not a good idea
to empty the Trash box right after you put a lot of messages into
it, so a good time to delete Out box messages is right after you
empty the Trash.

3: Learn the Sequence |
Double click the Out box to select it. Select all the messages
by choosing Edit / Select All. The keyboard shortcut is <Ctrl-A>.

4: Delete the Messages |
Press the Delete key on the keyboard to delete the messages. If
some of them have not been sent, you will be asked to confirm
whether you want to delete them. Remember, the messages will still
be available in the Trash in case you need them, until the Trash
box is emptied.
