| Step
1: Visit Eudora Web Site |
Visit the web site http://www.eudora.com/ and scroll to the bottom
of the page. You'll see the information about the latest Eudora
version 4, including a "frequently asked questions"
list. Since you're using the Eudora Light product, you'll need
to go to the archive page to get relevant information.
| Step
2: Visit Archive Page |
Click the Eudora Light link, or enter directly the site www.eudora.com/eudoralight.
Scroll to the bottom and click the link to the archives page.
There is a documentation package available just below the Eudora
Light download link. Most of the information in the documentation
file is also in Eudora Light's own Windows help file. But it's
worth a look if you can't find something in the help file.
| Step
3: View Other Documents |
Scroll down and you'll find other documentation about Eudora Light
3.0.6, including a PDF format manual, 133 pages, available for
download. This download can take a while over a dialup connection,
but it's a nicely-done manual with detailed instructions. Also
available is a readme text file. This file is redundant with the
README.TXT file you already have in your Eudora directory (folder).

| Step
4: Try Usenet |
If you haven't been able to find the help you need from these
sources, you probably won't get it from Qualcomm. Eudora Light,
as freeware, does not enjoy the direct support of other software.
One important source of help is the Usenet newsgroup comp.mail.eudora.ms-windows.
Visit the web site www.deja.com/usenet and select Power Search.
The example is a search for help on lost messages.
| Step
5: View Usenet Archive Articles |
Once Deja (or your favorite Usenet archive search site) has identified
a list of articles, look at them to see if they are relevant to
your problem. You may scroll down the list and click on them one
by one, or return to the previous screen and refine your search.
When you're finished, close your browser window.
| Step
6: Subscribe to Newsgroup |
To keep up with the latest news, questions and answers regarding
Eudora mail and Eudora Light, you can subscribe to the comp.mail.eudora.ms-windows
newsgroup in your favorite news reader program. Most of the questions
and answers will not pertain to Eudora Light. Instead, they will
refer to the latest Eudora mail version 4, at least until it stabilizes.
