| Step
1: Choose Standard |
A signature is a string of text appended to the end of all your
outgoing email messages. From the main Eudora screen, choose Tools
/ Signatures / Standard. Eudora opens a text box.

| Step
2: Enter Text |
Enter the text of your signature. It is best to keep it brief,
and suitable for all audiences. At one time, it was common to
draw pictures with the signature text. That is not advisable now,
since email readers use different fonts.

3: Close Signature |

Click the lower X mark to close the Standard signature window.

4: Check Option |

Select Tools / Options / Sending Mail and check the "Use

5: Verify Signature Window |
Click the New Message button in Eudora's main screen. Eudora prepares
to send a new mail message. The signature drop-down list allows
you to choose the Standard signature (the one you just configured)
or an Alternate, or <none> for no signature, for each message.
Click the lower X to close the "compose message" window.
