Queue or Send Your Messages

Step 1: Queue or Send

Queue or Send

When you compose a mail message, you will have either a "Queue" or a "Send" button available depending on your setting of the "send immediately" option. Click this button after you have typed and proofread your message. It will be sent immediately or the next time you send your mail.

Step 2: Control Immediate Send

Control Immediate Send

In the Eudora main screen, select Tools / Options / Sending Mail. Check the "immediate send" box if you want your emails sent immediately when you compose them. This would be advisable if you have a constant Internet connection and don't have the "check first" restriction imposed by some email providers.

Step 3: Set Send on Check

While you're here, you can verify your "send on check" setting, if you haven't already. See the tutorial "Set send on check." Click OK to dismiss the options window.

Step 4: View Out Box

View Out Box

From the main Eudora screen, select Mailbox / Out. Maximize the resulting window and you can see any messages you've sent, marked "S" in status. If you have immediate send turned off, you can see any messages you've queued for later sending, marked "Q" in status. If you discover an error was made in a queued message, it's not too late to edit it. You can double click the entry, make your changes, and select Queue again.
