From nowon, Internet access speed will be as follows:

1. At Suvarnabhumi Campus, international link speed will increase from 4 Mbps to 14 Mbps, and local link speed to 20 Mbps
2. Students residing in residential halls on Suvarnabhumi campus may access to the Internet at all times, but at daytime priorities are given to academic and work activities.
3. At Hua Mak Campus, international link speed will increase from 10 Mbps to 12 Mbps, and local link speed from 4 Mbps to 22 Mbps
4. Connection between Hua Mak and Suvarnabhumi campuses will increase from 2 Mbps to 4 Mbps
920 lines of Modem connection are available 24 x 7

Wireless Connectivity will be provided at the following locations:

1. At Suvarnabhumi Campus, on Floor 1 and 7 on SCIT Center
2. At Hua Mak Campus, at Ground floor of P Bldg – Central Library – E Building – 9th Floor of Q Bldg

Students and staff members are earnestly requested to comply with the following policies:

1. Internet access is meant primarily for education and work purposes.
2. No multi-session download software may be used. Automatic blocks will be installed, and staff will perform “close monitoring of download activity”
3. On all PCs and Notebooks, an appropriate virus protection system must be installed. PCs or Notebooks affected by virus or generating virus attacks will be locked against network access until a complete clean up is effected.
4. Game online is strongly discouraged. Appropriate actions will be taken to maintain quality Internet access.
5. Gambling and possession of pornographic materials are illegal according to Thai laws. Possessors will be responsible for any of such action.
6. Any intentional attempt to attack, hack, or in any way cause damage to AU internetworking and service systems will be subjected to disciplinary actions.
