WebMail: Using the Address Book
Description: To access the Web Mail address book, either click the Address Book button from the left hand toolbar of the main Web Mail window, or click Address from within a Message Composition window. The Address Book will be displayed.

The Address Book window is divided into three parts. The top portion of the window allows you to search for addresses in your personal address book, the system wide address book, or a public address book which you have designated in your Web Mail options. The portion of the window on the bottom left displays search results and the contents of your personal address book. The right most portion of the window displays all addresses which have been selected as recipients for an e-mail message.

Searching Address Books
To search for e-mail addresses, enter part of an individual's name into the Search For field. Select whether you would like Au Web Mail to search your Personal address book, the System Wide address book, or an optional Public directory which you have specified in your Web Mail options. Click the Search button. Matching addresses will be displayed in the bottom left pane.

Selecting Addresses for an E-mail Message
Once you have searched for addresses, you can easily add them to the To, CC, or BC (blind copy) lists for a new e-mail message. Select the desired addresses from the search results by clicking the checkbox to the left of them. Then, click the To, CC, or BC buttons to add the selected addresses to the desired list. The selected addresses will then appear under the Current Recipients list in the bottom right pane of the Address Book window. To remove addresses from the Current Recipients list, click the checkbox to the left of the address and click the Remove button. When you have finished adding addresses to the Current Recipients list, click Compose to switch to the message composition window, where you can continue composing your e-mail message.
